I hope that you could hear them, when i felt your gentle touch.
Your body lay in my hand, but you had already gone.
There was nothing i could do to save you, what had i done wrong?
I closed my eyes, but didnt want to believe.
That you had gone, that you could just leave.
My job was to protect you, to make sure you were okay.
Mummy tried to protect you Bailey, but you grew your wings that day.
Theres not a day that goes past, not a moment i dont think.
What my little girl would be like now, would she be a princess all in pink??

My Shoes

I would offer you my shoes to walk in, before you will understand me.
You can have the chance to walk in my shoes, before you judge me you can see.
Loosing a child is painful, its something some people wont understand.
Do you know how it feels, to have your child lay helpless in your hand?
Why did it have to happen to me, is a question left on my mind?
People might give you a wide berth, or offer you sympathy and be kind.
So here are the shoes i wear, im sorry they're so uncomfy and grey.
But these are the shoes i wear now, its not like i can throw them away..
